The Gore Agricultural & Pastoral Showgrounds Is located In Bury St, just off State Highway 1 at the south end of Gore. Here you will find an extremely neat park-like setting on 11.2 hectares of land. The Gore Town & Country Club, Gore Multi-Sports Centre, all-weather hockey turf and the town centre are all close by.
It is only a short drive to the Gore Golf Club, Pioneer Park, Eastern Southland Art Gallery and the Hokonui Moonshine Museum.
The grounds consist of multiple playing fields, Ram Selling Pavilion, Hokonui Pavilion, storage sheds, a softball diamond, main ring, grandstand, supporting buildings and sealed areas.
These areas are used to host a wide range of events throughout the year - rugby, marching, softball, riding, ram fairs, craft and hobbies groups, The Southern Equestrian Arena, dressage tournaments, show jumping events and clinics and our annual show which is held In February each Year.
